The Berliner Stadtmission, which translates to city mission of Berlin, is a non-profit social welfare organisation founded in 1877. It is part of the Protestant Church and has been active in Berlin ever since. Guided by the motto “Seek the welfare of the city and pray to the Lord for it”, it sees itself as a Christian-inspired network supporting people in difficult life situations.
With a wide range of support services, including emergency shelters and cold weather assistance for homeless people, integration and education programmes, and support for refugees, the Stadtmission provides concrete impetus for social participation, community, and prospects.
The Stue has joined this mission and would like to inform guests about Stadtmission’s activities. In December 2025, a charity campaign was also carried out. Proceeds from drinks at the bar and desserts at Carte Blanche were donated. Thanks to Metzler Bank, which doubled the amount, 10,000 euros were raised. The Stue is grateful to be involved in the city mission.
